Makes me think of one of those really fast footage things of buildings being built. Huh, this is nice compared to some of the other industrial songs on the site. A little repetitive, maybe, but still pleasing to listen to. Nice work :)

This is one of those songs that would be better to eat after eating some "magic mushrooms."

In reply to that dude's review

It sounds like a heavily reverbed guitar, or a heavily distorted piano, or maybe a combination of the two.
Author's Response:
Actually, it's a Persian santoor... basically a hammered dulcimer.
Close... they all have strings right? :)

I have a question for you: Is this single track or multi track? If it is multi track, how many tacks? If this is a single track, you have ungodly piano skills...

I really enjoyed this, but I think that you should have cut out the empty space between 1:11 and 1:19. I especially liked how you let the piano on strings "hang" at the 40 second mark. Very nicely done, I hope to see more good work from you :)

This sounds so much like Eric Bachmann's score for Short Careers: Ball of Wax. It has perfect instrumentation, great melodies, soothing harmonies, and loops very well! This deserves it's place of best classical song!

I've been looking through the classical submissions and I've been quite shocked at some of the piano pieces. This has got to be one of the best, especially if you were playing from memory. As for myself, I always play from memory, I never even learned sheet music. But this, this would be far beyond my skills. You might want to think of investing in a program like Reason or FL Studio, because you would be able to record through midi and fix your mistakes, as well as add more tracks. 5/5
Author's Response:
Thanks for the review! I own FL Studio, but I love using my grand piano. Also, most of this isn't just from memory, it's made up as I go along, like a jazz solo. I might go back and re-record parts to get them perfect.

Very good melody, but I think that you should change the instrumentation a bit, especially the drums. Also, a little bit of distortion is present when the strings hit high notes. I'm giving this a 4/5, it's great but I'm leaving a little room for improvement.
Author's Response:
Thank you very much, lol actually this was on a walmart keyboard and my friend and I sat side by side. I played the lower notes and he played the higher notes with some computer microphone laying on the speaker lol.

Two questions.
1. Did you write this?
2. Is this a single unaltered track, played by hand?
If the answers to those are yes, then I am amazed. It's such a beautiful, calming song. And it's played magnificently as well. This deserves it's position as highest rated classical song on the portal. Excellent work.
